Symantec Antivirus, Trend Micro Antivirus or McAfee Antivirus only. Which is better?

Because I'm in the military, the government provides us free Antivirus software for our home computers. But the only choices are Symantec AV, McAfee AV or Trend Micro AV. But which one is better? Keep in mind that they are free, full versions, with free updates. I don't really care to hear about other AVs that are available, just which of these are better? Thanks for the help in advance.

I've tried all three. Although Norton may be the most common antivirus program, I found it and McAfee difficult to completely uninstall if needed. Also these two are huge drains on your computers memory. Trendmicro does a decent job and offers the free online scanner Housecall.

never use norton it's hard on your pc and doesnt do a good job .

Symantec!! It slows down your computer but its incredably thourough and you can expect to never have a problem with it. If you havent got a quick pc i advise you go for McAffe.

Symantec Corporate Edition in Firewall and Antivirus are very reliable and I like them a lot.
You're pretty much **** out of luck with Symantec and Mcaffee as they're both memory hogs. If you got the memory (RAM), go with Symantec. Mcafee always did suck. Trend micro, haven't kept up to date about them.
