AntiVirus, & Firewall?

Can anyone please tell me a good, and free antivirus and firewall software? I've been using McAfee, but now that my subscription has expired, its not helping me at all. I don't have the money just yet to go and purchase McAfee 2007. . . . I have tried Avast antivirus. . . i hate it. . . please help. Also, its gonna need to work with my P2P
