What's a good, free antivirus program? Or is there such thing?

I highly reccomend AVG Free edition from Grisoft. I have been using it for 4 or 5 years now and have no problems with it interfering with other programs, it updates nightly and I have had no virus problems. You can download at www.grisoft.com.

Such a thing probably doesn't exist, AVG may be free but it's notorious for it's ineffectiveness. Your best bet is to pick up kaspersky Internet Security 7 from their website or a local store. There is a full version which you can try for 30 days for free

Use "Avast" antivirus. It's completely free for home use. Also, it is self-updating.
