Antivirus Problem..?

i deleted Nortons off my pc because it needed reactivating and i couldnt find the code.. so i resorted to AVG, then i realised i could get the code from the website or company, yeah, dumb move..

anyways, ive got a trojan virus and basically need a free antivirus, for the time being, that will get rid of it..AVG doesnt delete viruses
