Antivirus.......What do you recommend?

I used to pay for Norton Internet Security up to now....

Should I extend my service, or do you recommend some other free antivirus which is just as good?

There are free anti-virus scanners availble. They work well. I like AVG the best of all the free anti-virus programs.

If you are not willing to spend money it is good to have some kind of anti-virus software

This is my recommendation for anti-virus. Free are good, but they are not as accurate as the top paid anti-virus software. Not a fan of Norton its a resource hog

Try free AVG...get it from www.download.com . Key in 'avg' in Download.com search box and download free from the results page.

Once installed, update your free AVG as often as you can like daily.
keep Norton if possible, I've never had any problems with it.
go for bitdefender.com

Hello, I don't like to pay for anything, because I'm a believer of Open Source and freeware. I've used AVG Free Edition and found it to be really good, but currently I am trying out avast!, and that's going well too.
